About Me

I have a B.A. in Communications from UCLA and an M.A. in Communications from Cal State Fullerton. After graduation, I worked for almost ten years as a script reader for various studios, including Dreamworks and Village Roadshow Pictures. I worked as an independent screenplay consultant for several years after that.
I left Hollywood to pursue fiction writing, publishing over 30 short stories, a novella, and a children’s book. I’ve written for the Los Angeles Review of Books, Hapa Mag, Wellbeing, and Intrepid Times, to name a few. I blog regularly at The Thrill Begins. If you want updates on my fiction, you can sign up for my newsletter.
After suffering from debilitating migraines for years, I turned to a more holistic approach to healing out of desperation. After much trial and error, I discovered my own path to relief through natural methods like yoga and meditation combined with conventional medication.
Thanks to my new treatment strategy, I was able to return to one of my passions: traveling! One of life’s greatest pleasures is experiencing new cultures and meeting people from all over the world.
